Family triumph for the Deus brothers

An all-family victory. The Portuguese brothers Miguel and Nuno Deus won the FIP PROMOTION Albania Open played in Tirana. Both born with tennis and switched to padel, they form a pair closer than ever and, in the final, defeated Spain’s Alvaro Montiel Caruso and Argentina’s Valentino Acosta Kremnitzer 7-5 6-2. For Deus brothers (Miguel, born in 1993, is the oldest, while Nuno was born in 1995), it was their first international title.

“In a difficult and very balanced tournament from start to finish, we faced pairs from different countries, proving that the level is always higher, and we came out winners – they said -. Dedication always pays off and we will not stop fighting for our goals“.

The ‘Deus Brothers’, also players of the Portuguese national team, were not even in the top seeds, but in the semifinals they defeated the number 1 of the draw, Italians Simone Cremona and Marco Cassetta, before completing their masterpiece.
