Hong Kong II, Medina Murphy-Garcia and Ramme-Cabrejas win the second tournament of the CUPRA FIP Tour in the Asian country

Christian Medina Murphy (rank 105) and Alberto Garcia (rank 113) won the FIP Bronze tournament held in Hong Kong last weekend. The pair, ranked 105 and 113 in the FIP ranking and coming from a semifinal in the FIP Bronze in Kuala Lumpur, won the final 6-4 6-4 against the Spanish duo Nunes-Solbes, who were the top seeds.

“We are proud to be the champions of this tournament in Hong Kong. We had a tough path, but this is a big achievement that helps us keep going with more motivation for the rest of the season,” said Alberto Garcia after the awards ceremony.

In the women’s draw, the Mexican team of Camila Ramme (her third straight win after the FIP Bronze in Curitiba and the FIP Silver in Metepec) and Ana Maria Cabrejas, ranked 88 and 114, won the final 7-6 6-0 against Ainize Santamaria and Angelina Neizvestnaya.
