March 14, 2025
The 2025 FIP Promises circuit continues, and after tournaments in Spain, Qatar, Brazil, Paraguay, Italy, and Germany, it’s now time for three more big events: the FIP Promises Damac Dubai, the FIP Promises Golden Point Middelkerke I, and the FIP Promises in Setúbal, taking place this weekend. The young padel talents are ready to shine again in three different countries.
In Dubai, the Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 male categories will compete. Among the youngest, Hamdan Alhashmi and Mario Brocal Avilés lead the tournament. In the Under 16, Ahmed Alhashmi and Aaron García Rubio stand out, while in the Under 18, the Italian players Antonio Palma and Alessandro Pirrotta are in the spotlight.
The Middelkerke tournament will feature both male and female categories: Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18. Among the younger players, Coppens Jonas/Strackx Lennert are leading. As seeded pairs, we have Jules Verraghen/Ernest Verhoestraete in the Under 14 male category, Hanne Van Bruyssel/Louise Vanaudenaerde in the Under 14 female category, and Gauthier Van Tornhout/Daani Gauer are number one in the Under 16 male category. In the female category, the twins Anshika and Rishita Rajagopal are the favorites. In the Under 18 male category, Thomas Panken and Jorrit Hazebroek stand out, while in the female category, we have Sarah De Vleeschouwer and Loan Basile.
Many young talents have also signed up for the Setúbal tournament, with the same male and female categories. Among the youngest are Salvador Condenso Hugo/García Gómez and Teresa Cravo/Matilde Gueiral, while in the Under 14 category, Christian Riesgo/Christian Guerrero and Martina Rodríguez/Clara García will compete. In the Under 16, the pairs Javier Nieto/Lucca Laes and Carla Borrego/Marina Serrano are in action. Among the older players, Álvaro Marroyo/Mario Guerrero and Daniela Catarino/Margarida Guerreiro will be the main contenders.
