Egypt II, Gonzalez and Cassetta aiming for a double win

Marco Cassetta and José Luis Gonzalez lead the draw of the FIP Silver Egypt II, aiming for their second consecutive victory in Beheira. The Italo-Spanish pair, coming off their win in the FIP Silver Egypt I, has returned to the top 100 of the FIP ranking (they are ranked 98th and 97th, respectively) thanks to their strong performances in the first tournaments of 2025 (they were also finalists in the FIP Bronze Qatar in January).
On the other side of the main draw, we find the Italian pair formed by Flavio Abbate and Giulio Graziotti. The two, ranked 109th and 110th in the FIP ranking, have won eight CUPRA FIP Tour trophies in their careers, and with a win, they would tie with Jairo Bautista as the most successful players in the history of the circuit.
The tournament will take place from Friday, February 28 to Sunday, March 2, and will offer 80 points for the FIP ranking.
