Valencia, Orsi-Rodriguez win their first title of 2025

The FIP Silver Valencia took place last weekend. The women’s title was won by the top-seeded pair, Carolina Orsi (29) and Nuria Rodriguez (25), who repeated their victory from last year’s FIP Platinum Sardegna. The Italian-Spanish duo defeated Jimena Velasco and Noa Canovas (who had reached the quarterfinals at the Riyadh P1) in the final, with a score of 6-4 6-4, earning 80 points in the FIP ranking.

“A super intense weekend from which we emerge champions. I’m really happy for this fantastic start to the season. Now, a few hours of rest and we start again for the Premier Padel Gijon P2”, the words of Carolina Orsi at the end of the final in Valencia.

For the men, the winners were Spanish player Boris Castro (who was already a champion last year at the FIP Gold Potosi) and Italian Enzo Jensen, a young talent born in 2006, who claimed his first victory on the CUPRA FIP Tour. After beating Santi Pineda and Daniel Luna in the semifinals, the pair defeated Spaniards Fuster-Naranjo Martinez in the final, with a score of 7-5 6-1.
