Egypt I: Gonzalez and Cassetta aim for revenge after losing the final in Qatar

The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Egypt, where the first FIP Silver event of the year is scheduled for this weekend. The Egypt I tournament will take place in Beheira and offering 80 ranking points for the winners. The top-seeded pair in the draw is made up of Josè Luis Gonzalez (who moved up one spot in the ranking to number 107) and Marco Cassetta (number 104), semifinalists at the FIP Silver Rio Grande Brazil and finalists at the FIP Bronze Qatar in recent weeks.
On the other side of the main draw, we have the pair formed by the Spaniard Jaume Romera and the Italian Simone Cremona. The two, ranked 159th and 105th in the FIP ranking, are coming off a quarterfinal finish at the FIP Silver Rio Grande Brazil.
