Gijón confirmed as the host city for the first Premier Padel tournament in Spain in 2025

Gijón is set to debut as the host of the world’s best padel competition. From February 24th to March 2nd, the city will welcome the Gijón Premier Padel P2, the second stop of the 2025 Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour calendar and the first in Spain. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 12 p.m., starting at €20, with a special price of €7.50 for the qualifying rounds.

 

The event is backed by the City Council of Gijón, through the Municipal Sports Board, reaffirming its commitment to elite sports and the international promotion of the city.

 

The iconic Palacio de Deportes de la Guía-Presidente Adolfo Suárez has been chosen as the venue for this highly anticipated tournament. This marks a significant moment for Gijón residents, who will have the chance to witness the world’s top padel stars competing for the first title of the year, in Spain.

 

Following an outstanding 2024, with major tournaments in Sevilla, Málaga, Madrid, Valladolid, and Barcelona, Spain once again finds itself at the epicentre of the padel world. The Gijón Premier Padel P2 will kick off the country’s 2025 calendar, with additional confirmed stops in Málaga (July 14th–20th), Valladolid (June 23rd–29th), Madrid (September 1st–7th), and Barcelona (December 8th–14th).
