From Valencia come the first results for the young promises of padel. The FIP Promises Family SC, the first stage of the 2025 circuit of the International Padel Federation dedicated to young players, concluded with over 100 participants.
In the U12 category, Lucas Ortega and Joel Martinez lived up to their top seed status by claiming the boys’ title, while Vera Domínguez and Noah Ballestero triumphed in the girls’ competition. In the U14s, Leo Gómez and Guillermo Romero defeated Aitor Parron and Adam Mouaddah in the final, 6-2 6-2, while Claudia Rubies and Ona Durban took home the girls’ trophy. In the U16 category, Pelayo Sanchez and Iker Garcia began 2025 with a victory, redeeming themselves after losing the final at the FIP Promises Finals in Venice. On the girls’ side, Marina Herrera and Noemi Vélez secured the title. Finally, in the U18s, Arnau Ortells and David Espósito came out on top in the boys’ draw, while Yaiza Hualing and Laura Navarro clinched the girls’ title.
The next stop of the FIP Promises circuit will be in Doha, from January 22 to 26. The 2025 season has just begun and is already in full swing.
