Family SC, The new season of padel promises begins in Valencia

The 2025 season of the FIP Promises circuit kicks off this weekend, with over 100 young talents ready to compete in Valencia at the FIP Promises Family SC, the first major event of the year for international youth padel. The International Padel Federation’s circuit, designed to develop young talent, has seen exponential growth: from 3 tournaments in 2021 to 41 in 2024, demonstrating the FIP’s commitment to promoting youth divisions.

All categories, male and female, will compete: U12, U14, U16, and U18. Among the favorites are Lucas Ortega and Joel Martinez in the U12 male category, Noa Ibañez and Paola Soriano in the U12 female category, while Mikel Giménez and Marc Moreno lead the U14 male draw. In the same female category, Eva Vazquez and Carla Hernandez stand out, last year’s FIP Promises Finals winners. In the U16 draw, keep an eye on Pelayo Sanchez and Iker Garcia for the males and Irene Perez and Berta Barrachina for the females. Moving to the U18 category, Alvaro Marroyo and Mario Martinez start as favorites in the male division, while Paula Gil and Daniela Valiente are the top contenders for the female title. A weekend packed with matches will conclude on Sunday with the finals.
