In Venezia it is finals day: the titles are up for grabs

At the Venezia Padel Club it’s finals day: the six titles of the FIP Promises Finals, the International Padel Federation’s circuit set up to promote young talent, will be awarded. And there will be plenty of talent on the court: it starts with the finals of the Under 14 category, with the challenge between Italians Tommaso Sarti and Lorenzo Sargolini (the only Italian pair to reach the final) and Spanish Juan Conesa and Mario Brocal. Instead, it will be Eva Vazquez and Carla Hernandez versus Claudia Ferrer and Ona Calvo who will play for the Under 14 women’s title.

In the Under-18, Dutchmen Thomas Panken and Jorrit Hazebroek will try to contend for the title against Noe Sanchez and Pablo Reina, with the Under-18 women’s final not before 1 p.m. between Alba Vazquez and Jimena Diaz opposing Sofia Pastor and Carlota Sanchez. The day will end with the Under 16 finals: first the men’s, with Vicente Soto and Aaron Garcia versus Pelayo Bucero and Iker Zamora, then the women’s with Patricia Roman and Angela Lorenzo versus Covadonga Verdejo and Nerea Gomez.

If on the centre court the finals for first place will be played, on the other courts of the Venezia Padel Club the other youngsters will return to the court to play the finals that will define the other positions.
