Day 3: first stage wraps up, semifinals on Friday

The UAE will take on Iran, while Japan will face Lebanon on the other side of the draw. These are the “Fantastic 4” of the FIP Juniors Asian Padel Championships in Bahrain, which finished the first stage on Thursday. In Group A, the UAE beat the hosts 2-1, securing their second win, while Japan, though resting, already had enough points to advance. In Group B, Iran made a comeback to beat Kuwait 2-1, and Lebanon, despite losing 1-2 to Saudi Arabia, managed to qualify.

The four teams will be back on court Friday for the semifinals, starting at 4.30 PM local time. Also on Friday, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will compete for a spot in the match for fifth place, while Kuwait has already earned a bye to fight for a top-5 finish.
