Day 4. Sager tries again: after Turin, also in the final in Bourg en Bresse

Two years ago, in Turin, Nachi Sager triumphed in the CUPRA FIP Finals paired with Mati Diaz. In Bourg en Bresse (France), Sager will have the chance to win again, this time paired with Lucas Campagnolo: the number 5 seed beat Javi Garcia and Javier Barahona 7-5 6-3. On Sunday, not before 6 p.m., the final against Fran Guerrero and Jairo Bautista, who in the first semifinal of the men’s draw had beaten with a comeback (3-6 7-6 6-1) Juan Cruz Belluati and Javi Ruiz.

The final day of the 2024 CUPRA FIP Tour will open at 4.30 p.m. with the women’s final, where all the French fans will be cheering for Alix Collombon, who defeated Lorena Rufo and Lara Arruabarrena 6-3 6-4 in the semifinal with Araceli Martinez. Facing the number 3 seed, however, will be the number 1 seed, Marina Guinart and Victoria Iglesias, thanks to their 6-3 2-6 6-4 over Ana Catarina Nogueira and Sara Ruiz Soto.
