Castellón de la Plana, Llobera and Cano Seeking Their First Victory in 2024

The CUPRA FIP Tour makes a stop with a FIP Promotion event in Castellón de la Plana, Spain. The tournament, which has reached its peak this week, will conclude with the finals scheduled for Sunday. Up for grabs are 15 points for the FIP ranking.

In the women’s main draw, 30 pairs will compete for the title, with Spanish players Ares Llobera and Maite Cano as the number 1 seeds. For them, this represents a new opportunity to claim their first seasonal victory in the CUPRA FIP Tour, following their triumphs in 2023 at the FIP Rise tournaments in Sassuolo and Horn.

The men’s main draw will feature 32 pairs. The number 1 seeds are Spaniards Eneko Arija Ochoa de Alda and Sergio Nieto, coming off a runner-up finish at the FIP Rise Open MCV in Naples and eager to redeem themselves this time.
