November 27, 2024A few days after triumphing in the FIP Platinum Mexico, Alex Ruiz and Alex Arroyo continue their run-up to the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona. With 6-4 7-5 wins over Gonzalo Rubio and Pablo Lijo, the number 9 seed in the Premier Padel GNP Mexico Major reached the second round, earning them another 90 points in the FIP Race. So did Sanyo Gutierrez, who paired with José Diestro to defeat Agustin Gutierrez and Josete Rico 6-4 6-4. Today, the day of the round of 16, the other two players fighting for the last two spots for the Finals are expected to reply: Pablo Cardona with Paquito Navarro will face Swedish qualifiers Simon Vasquez and Adam Axelsson, while Lucas Bergamini playing with Javi Garrido will face Pablo Garcia Rodrigo and Arnau Ayats.
