Open MCV, Baldi and Dal Pozzo win at home

An all-Italian final, that of the women’s draw at the FIP Rise Open MCV in Napoli, which was played as part of Padelness, a three-day event held at the Mostra d’Oltremare. Giulia Dal Pozzo and Caterina Maria Baldi, seeded number 4, beat 6-2 6-4 Chiara Pappacena and Giulia Sussarello, who led the tournament entry list, to win their first FIP Rise as a pair after triumphing in the FIP Promotion in Porec (Croatia).

In the men’s draw, on the other hand, victory went to Alejandro Jerez and Manuel Aragon, the number 6 seed, who beat 6-3 6-3 Sergio Nieto and Eneko Arija Ochoa de Alda in the final.
