FIP Promises Finals, the best of NextGen set to shine in Venice from 19 to 22 December

An exceptional stage awaits the rising stars of the global padel scene. The Promises FIP Tour will cap off a record-breaking 2024 – featuring 40 tournaments worldwide – with the FIP Promises Finals, scheduled to take place from December 19 to 22 in Venice, Italy. This new event underscores the commitment of the International Padel Federation and its member federations to fostering junior talent, a key driver for the growth and spread of padel in the coming years.

The Venezia Padel Club will host three categories of young stars, both male and female: the top eight pairs in the Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 categories from the FIP Promises rankings (as of December 6, 2024) will face off for the title. At stake are 1.200 ranking points for the winning pairs in each category.

The tournament will begin with a practice day on December 19, followed by group-stage matches on December 20 and 21. The group stage will feature two groups of four pairs each, with the top two pairs from each group advancing to the semifinals. Meanwhile, the third and fourth-ranked pairs will compete for positions 5 through 8. The semifinals are set for the afternoon of December 21, while the finals will take place on Sunday, December 22.
