Doha, more top-level Padel in Qatar after the FIP World Padel Championships

Following the FIP World Padel Championships and a stage of the FIP Promises circuit, padel returns to the spotlight in Qatar with the FIP Promotion Doha men’s tournament, running through the weekend. The setting is nothing short of spectacular: the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha, the stunning venue where just weeks ago the world’s best players competed, culminating in Argentina claiming the men’s World Championship title and Spain triumphing in the women’s competition. Leading the entry list are Spain’s Javier Navarro Perez (ranked 199 in the FIP rankings) and Qatar’s Mohammed Saadon Alkuwari (ranked 191), who returns to the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex after representing the national team in the FIP World Padel Championships. The top six seeds receive a bye in the first round, entering the competition directly in the round of 16.
