Vic, the CUPRA FIP Tour so close to Barcelona

It is the town of Vic, in Catalunya, that is hosting a CUPRA FIP Tour stage this weekend: a FIP Promotion is being played with 63 pairs on court, and the number 1 seed in the women’s draw (Maite Cano and Ares Llobera) going straight into the round of 16. Leading the men’s main draw are Guillem Figuerola (number 214 in the FIP ranking) and Miguel Melero (number 166), followed by Ruben Rivera and Marc Bernils. Among the women, however, the number 2 seeded players are Ana Cristina Sanchez and Kaori Peco. But pairs from other countries will also be coming to Vic: players from Italy, Great Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Monaco, Argentina and Brazil will be on the court.
