Men’s day 4. Netherlands, Uruguay, Belgium and Sweden in the running for ninth place

The courts were always full at the Khalifa Tennis&Squash Complex in Doha, where the quarter-finals of the FIP World Padel Championships draw for ninth to 16th place was also played. The most balanced tie was between Paraguay and the Netherlands, with the Dutch 2-1 victory coming in the deciding match thanks to Van Opstal/Prins.
The first two, on the other hand, were enough for Belgium, Uruguay and Sweden. Belgium defeated hosts Qatar 2-0 with wins from De Weerdt/Meessen and Geens/Azzola; Sweden did the same over Mexico with Slaryd/Axelsson and Olsson/Yitbarek and Uruguay over the United States thanks to Ramos/Araujo de Lizarza and Piastri/Jimenez.
Belgium-Sweden and Netherlands-Uruguay the semi-finals for places 9 to 12; Qatar-Mexico and Paraguay-United States those for places 13 to 16.
