Alcalá de Guadaíra, Rubio-Lijo and Perez-Martinez the pairs to beat

Not only the FIP World Padel Championships in Doha. The CUPRA FIP Tour doesn’t stop and, this week, offers among others a FIP Rise in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Spain), with a men’s draw of 32 pairs and a women’s one of 29. Among the men, the number 1 seed are Spaniards Gonzalo Rubio (number 33 in the FIP ranking) and Pablo Lijo (47), followed by Mario Del Castillo (78) and Nacho Vilariño (56).

Among women, however, Agueda Perez and Patri Martinez are aiming to win another title after the one in the FIP Rise in Stratford. Competing against the Spaniards, among others, will be Marta Barrera and Marta Caparros, who lost the final in the FIP Rise in Fuerteventura last weekend and who are number 2 seeded in Alcalá de Guadaíra.
