Villena, the CUPRA FIP Tour in Juan Carlos Ferrero’s academy

FIP Promotion Villena (Spain) is played at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy, the ‘home’ of one of the greatest players in Spanish tennis history, now coach to Carlos Alcaraz. But in the Ferrero Academy there is also the padel academy, with eight courts, one of which is also entitled to Paula Josemaria, which will host a CUPRA FIP Tour tournament this weekend.

In the men’s draw, the number 1 seed will be Argentinian Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Piotto – number 83 in the FIP ranking – and Spanish Adrian Marques (106), with Sergio Nieto Simon (213) and Marc Sintes Villalonga (301) number 2. In the women’s draw, on the other hand, Nuria Vivancos (number 81 in the FIP ranking) and Xenia Clascà (83) lead the entry list, with Carla Fernandez Gonzalez (221) and Dutchwoman Rosalie Van der Hoek (114) on the other side of the draw.
