FIP Rise Sassuolo, Rodriguez-Gonzalez and Manquillo-Soriano lead the draws

The CUPRA FIP Tour makes a stop in Italy this weekend with the FIP Rise in Sassuolo, which is being played in the Emilia-Romagna region. There are two drawcards on the programme: among the men, the number 1 seeds are Alonso Rodriguez Martinez (world number 103) and José Luis Gonzalez (89), while among the women, Letizia Maria Manquillo (67) and Arantxa Soriano (60) are leading.

Marco Cassetta and Alvaro Montiel (Spanish but of Italian origin) follow Martinez and Gonzalez on the men’s entry list, with Ana Dominguez and Nuria Vivancos at the bottom of the women’s main draw. The Sporting Club Sassuolo will host the tournament: first matches of the main draw on Friday, with round of 16 and quarters scheduled for Saturday and semifinals and finals scheduled for Sunday.
