MEN In Men’s Group A, Argentina defeated Ecuador 3-0, securing the first two points of the tournament. “La Tricolor” then returned to the court against the United States, losing once again but after a hard-fought match: after the U.S. success in the Under 14 category, Ecuador evened the score in the Under 16 match, before giving in during the third match with a score of 6-7 5-7.

Mexico and Paraguay were the stars in Group B, both winning against Venezuela: the tie ended 3-0 for the host team, while Paraguay triumphed 2-1, with the decisive victory (7-6 7-5) in Mexico’s Under 18 category. Group C opened with Brazil‘s 3-0 victory over Uruguay, followed by Chile‘s 3-0 win again over ‘La Celeste’.

WOMEN In the women’s tournament, Argentina had an easy debut in Group A, with a 3-0 win over Ecuador, dropping only seven games across three matches. The tie between Paraguay and Chile was more contested, with Chile coming from behind to win 2-1.
