FIP World Padel Championships South American Female Qualifiers, Chile and Uruguay secure spots in the final stage

In Viña del Mar, the host team Chile, along with Uruguay, celebrate their entry into the final stage of the FIP World Padel Championships, women tournament. In Doha (Qatar), from October 28th to November 2nd, the two national teams will join Argentina and Brazil, who have already qualified by ranking. In the fifth and final tie of the FIP World Padel Championships South American Female Qualifiers, Chile defeated Uruguay 2-1, finishing with 8 points and securing first place in the qualification tournament, with “La Celeste” in second place with 7 points.

In the last round, Uruguayans Camila Belassi and Camila David de Lima defeated Belen Tajmuch and Francisca Araneda 2 sets to 1; the second match ended with a victory for Chileans Catalina Arancibia and Kimberley Ahumada against Claudia Fernandez and Carolina Sampaio. The decisive point for Chile was won by Macarena Lobo and Valentina Castro against Paula Vidales and Ines Carriquirry (2-0).
