FIP Rise Cordenons, 49 pairs on court in Italy

Not only the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel. This weekend, Italy is also hosting a stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour: it’s being played in Cordenons, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, in the north-east of the country.

There will be 49 pairs on the court, including 32 in the men’s and 17 in the women’s draw. Among the men, the number 1 seed is Argentina’s Juan Ignacio Balzola Galvani, number 354 in the ranking, and Brazil’s Francisco Gomes (115), followed by French Julien Seurin (179) and Manuel Vives (160), but there will also be many Italians on the court, both in the men’s and women’s draw led by Portuguese Margarida Fernandes (number 108 in the FIP ranking) and Catarina Santos Domingos (107), with Spanish Nati Lopez Diaz and Lucia Garcia the number 2 seed.
