FIP European Padel Championships Qualifiers, day 3: double for Switzerland and Hungary. Next challenge in Cagliari

The FIP European Padel Championships Qualifiers have ended in Norway, announcing the names of the 12 national teams (six men’s and six women’s) who will join the 10 national teams already qualified by ranking for the final stage scheduled in Italy from 22 to 27 July. Among the men’s teams, following Portugal’s qualification after the first two days, Switzerland (3-0 against Bulgaria), Monaco (3-0 against Türkiye), Croatia (who beat Lithuania), Hungary (3-0 against Montenegro) and Austria, defeated hosts Norway in a very balanced tie.

Qualified for the final stage: Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Monaco, Croatia, Hungary, Austria.

WOMEN Three national teams qualified for the final phase of the FIP European Padel Championships for women already after the second tie: Estonia, Switzerland and Portugal. They were joined by Lithuania (who defeated hosts Norway), Poland (who finished second in Group B), and Hungary (second in Group C behind Portugal). In addition to Portugal, therefore, Switzerland and Hungary also took both teams to the finals.

Qualified for the finals: Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Finland, Great Britain, Estonia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, Hungary.
