FIP Rise Riyadh, two Spanish pairs lead the entry list

CUPRA FIP Tour, the International Padel Federation circuit that runs worldwide, makes a stop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this weekend, in the country that also hosted the first tournament of the Premier Padel circuit. A men’s and a women’s draw, both with 32 pairs, will be played at the ‘Al Rabwah’ padel.

Leading the entry list in the men’s one are Spanish David Gala (number 125 in the FIP ranking) and Anton Sans (78); number 2 seeded the Portuguese Gustavo Nunes (154) and Raul Marcos (70). The number 1 seeds in the women’s draw are also Spanish: leading the way are 19-year-old Laura Lujan Rodriguez (number 106 and winner of four stages of the CUPRA FIP Tour in 2024) and Ana Domingues Gracia, who won with Lujan in Buenos Aires. The number 2s are Camila Fassio (131) and Belgian Helena Wyckaert (99).
