FIP European Padel Championships Qualifiers, 31 national teams in Oslo to play for a place in Cagliari

Oslo (Norway) is ready to host the FIP European Padel Championships Qualifiers. At the Nordic Padel, a 14 indoor courts club, 31 national teams (20 men’s and 11 women’s) will take to the court to compete for the 12 places (six per draw) in the final phase scheduled from July 22th to 27th in Cagliari (Italy).

 

A weekend, that of Oslo, in which FIP and Norges Tennis-og Padelforbund – the Norwegian Tennis and Padel Federation – join forces for a great event with athletes from all over Europe, which precedes the 13th edition of the FIP European Padel Championships, the fourth to be held in Italy. An unprecedented media coverage, that of the FIP European Padel Championships Qualifiers: all matches, in fact, will be broadcast live on the FIP YouTube channel.

 

It starts on Friday 7th with the first tie at 5 p.m.; the second is scheduled for Saturday 8th from 11 a.m., the third on Sunday 9 from 9.30 a.m..

 

These are the qualifying rounds:

 

MEN

Group A: Finland, Czechia, Portugal

Group B: Switzerland, Bulgaria, Ukraine

Group C: Monaco, Türkiye, Estonia

Group D: Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia

Group E: San Marino, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Montenegro

Group F: Norway, Austria, Kosovo, Ireland

The formula: the first classified in each group advances to the final stage

Already qualified for the final stage: Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Netherlands.

 

 

WOMEN

Group A: Lithuania, Norway, Estonia

Group B: Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia

Group C: Hungary, Montenegro, Czechia, Portugal

The formula: The top two in each group advance to the final stage

Already qualified for the final stage: Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Great Britain.
