FIP Rise Sweden IV, Goteborg brings good luck to Castillo and Alfaro

Pablo Castillo Valverde and Candido Jorge Alfaro had already reached the final of a CUPRA FIP Tour tournament played in Gothenburg (Sweden) in February, but lost to Santigosa/Collado.

Last weekend, the two Spanish, the number 2 seed in the FIP Rise Sweden IV, were able to win the tournament at the end of a very balanced final, in which Castillo and Alfaro came back from a set down and close 3-6 6-1 7-5 over the surprising Swedish Linus Frost and Albin Olsson, who were not among the top seeds and came close to a sensational feat. Castillo gained 10 FIP ranking positions (from 152 to 142), while Alfaro climbed from 163 to 157.
