FIP European Padel Championships, qualifiers in Oslo from 7th to 9th June with 33 national teams

It will be Oslo, Norway, to host from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June the FIP European Padel Championships qualifiers, scheduled to take place in Cagliari (Italy) from 22th to 27th July. The event will take place at Nordic Padel, a club with 14 courts, on a weekend when FIP and Norges Tennis-og Padelforbund – the Norwegian tennis and padel federation – join forces for a great padel weekend, with athletes from all over Europe.

Playing for a place in the final stages of the men’s draw will be 21 nations: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Hungary, Kosovo, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Portugal, Monaco, San Marino, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkiye, Vatican City and Ukraine. Twelve national teams will be on court for the women’s qualifying round: Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Ireland, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Hungary.

A total of 33 national teams will therefore be playing for the pass to Cagliari: impressive numbers, which confirm to the FIP’s efforts towards the future of padel, with special importance given to continental and intercontinental events for national teams. Cagliari will host the 13th edition of the FIP European Padel Championships, the fourth to be held in Italy after Lido di Savio (1995, opening edition), Bologna (2005) and Rome (2019).
