The Lotto Brussels Premier P2, which features 26 of the top 30 players in the men’s FIP ranking and 28 of the top 30 players in the women’s FIP ranking, opened with the debut of two of the top four men’s seeds: Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia (1), in the hunt for their fourth title in a row after Doha, Acapulco and Puerto Cabello, defeated Del Castillo/Jimenez with a double 6-4, while in the evening came the victory of Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno (4), 6-3 6-3 over Agustin Gutierrez and Josete Rico. Among the top seeds, Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz (8) were also ok, 7-5 6-2 to Rico/Esbri. Great expectations on Wednesday for the debut as a pair of Juan Lebron and Paquito Navarro (2), against Munoz/Garcia, and for that of Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan (3), finalists in Puerto Cabello, against Alonso/Arroyo.
