The La Nucía event is the third edition of the FIP Seniors World Padel Championships, the second to be held on Spanish soil and the first to be attended by nations from all continents, testifying to the global dimension that padel has taken on thanks to the synergy between the FIP and the national federations. The first edition was held in October 2018 in the municipalities of Estepona and Benahavis, both in the province of Málaga.
