FIP Rise Metepec, Medina and Vera try again

After last week’s victory in FIP Rise Cairo (Egypt), Christian Medina Murphy – number 127 in the FIP ranking – and Belar Vera Lopez (120) flew to Mexico. A leg of the CUPRA FIP Tour is being played in Metepec, with padel returning to Mexico a few weeks after the GNP Mexico P1 in Acapulco: Medina and Vera are the number 2 seed in a 20-pair men’s draw led by Portugal’s Pedro Araujo (141 in the ranking) and Antonio Luque (70).

In the women’s draw, on the other hand, eight pairs are starting: leading the entry list are Mexico’s Ximena Muñoz De Cote Millan (826) and Camila Ramme Coellar (139). Right behind, the British Lisa Rachel Phillips (243) and Abigail Tordoff (304).
