FIP Rise Santiago, Portuguese Deus and Araujo number 1 seeds

This weekend, the CUPRA FIP Tour – a circuit of the International Padel Federation that counts on some 120 tournaments organised on five continents – makes a stop in Santiago, Chile, for a men’s FIP Rise and a women’s FIP Promotion, scheduled at Mas Padel Santa María. Two events that anticipate by two months the P1 Premier scheduled from May 27th to June 2nd, which will host the world’s best athletes in Chile.

Leading the men’s draw this weekend will be Portugal’s Miguel Deus and Pedro Araujo, numbers 171 and 149 in the FIP ranking. Chileans Cristobal Martinez (186) and Cristobal Molina (184) are the number 2 seed, with Pol Hernandez Alvarez, coming from his success in the FIP Promotion in Alicante, who will play in Chile as the number 3 seed paired with Argentina’s Dylan Demian Cuello. After the end of the qualifiers, the first round of the 32-pair draw is scheduled for Friday; round of 16 and quarterfinals on Saturday, semifinals and final on Sunday.
