Padel is also looking to the future in the 2024 season. The FIP PROMISES circuit, which the International Padel Federation dedicates to the new generations, opens in Gothenburg (Sweden). It starts in Sweden, a nation that expresses a movement in great expansion, as seen by the second place of the men’s team at the last FIP Juniors World Padel Championships held in November in Asuncion, Paraguay, behind Spain. Four draws are scheduled, all with the round robin formula: Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 men, Under 14 women. Athletes from Norway and Denmark will also be coming to Bon Padel, as well as a Spanish pair, Carlos Garcia-Alix Alarcon and Iker Rodriguez Soto.

“With the first Promises of the year scheduled in Sweden, the extraordinary ‘cradle of talent’ of the FIP is back, the Promises FIP Tour 2024, the circuit in which the best youngsters from all over the world engage with the aim of becoming the champions of tomorrow – said FIP President Luigi Carraro –. I want to remember the FIP Juniors World Padel Championships of Asuncion in Paraguay last November, during which the best boys and girls on the planet wrote great pages of padel, confirming the goodness of the organisational model of the FIP youth competitions. A model that throughout the year is reflected in the Promises tournaments, where our youngsters have the opportunity to socialise, have fun, gain experience and express the talent that is a guarantee for the future. For the boys and girls who take the court in Gothenburg and for those who will do so in the coming months, my wish is to never stop dreaming. And to do so, if possible, with racket in hand”.
