Patiniotis and Dominguez without opponents

Only eleven games lost in four matches. At the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex it was an absolute domination, that of the Italo-Argentines Aris Patiniotis and Facundo Dominguez, winners of the FIP RISE in Doha, Qatar.

An unstoppable march that began in the round of 16 (the first seeded pairs had been given a bye) against Tunisians Ben Dhiaf and Kallel (6-1 6-1) and ended in the final won 6-1 6-2 against the surprising Egyptians Georges Wakim and Youssef Hossam. Out in the quarters, however, were draw leaders Nicolas Suescun and Victor Mena, defeated 7-5 6-3 by Spaniard Iago Gonzalez Nino and British Samuel Jones.
