five Italian pairs win

It was a great weekend of youth padel. The Bola Padel Next in Ancona (Italy) hosted a stage of the FIP PROMISES Tour that crowned five pairs. In the Under 14 men’s draw, the winners were Gabriele Laurino and Alessandro Stella, who beat Chile’s Vicente Soto and Spain’s Alvaro Bartolome 6-4 7-6 in the final. In the Under 16 category, Enzo Vista and Antonio Veneziani won 6-3 7-6 in the Italian derby against Stefano Indomenico and Alessandro Pirrotta.

Michele Piazzolla and Matteo Volturo, on the other hand, won the Under 18 draw by beating Gabriele De Nittis and Lucio Lombardi in the final (6-7 6-1 6-2). In the women’s, Vittoria Giraldi and Matilde Minelli triumphed (four wins out of four in the Under 14 round robin) and Aurora Buscaino and Flavia Coppola, also with full points, in the Under 18 round robin.
