to Vera and Egea, Chile brings good luck

Argentines Gonzalo Vera and Pablo Nicolas Egea had already come close to winning a tournament in Chile, in Concepcion. They did it in Iquique, starting as the third seed in the draw.

After beating two other Argentinians, Agustin Gallardo and Manuel Gayone, in the semifinals, Vera and Egea beat 7-6 6-1 in the final another pair that was not included in the seedings, Claudio Santibañez and Matias Negrete Oliva, from Chile.
