Abbate and Graziotti opponents

With all the world’s strongest players engaged in the Greenweez Paris Major Premier Padel, the CUPRA FIP Tour still has four tournaments scheduled over the weekend. One FIP RISE is being played in Italy, at the Sporting Club Sassuolo (Emilia-Romagna), with world number 43 Jorge Ruiz leading the entry list. Ruiz will play paired with Italian Giacomo Miccini, while on the other side of the draw as the number 2 seed are Riccardo Sinicropi and Giulio Graziotti. A tested pair, although Graziotti a few days ago won the Zurich tournament paired with Flavio Abbate.

The talented Sicilian, on the other hand, will be playing again this weekend with Nicolas Brusa: together, they won the FIP PROMOTION Città dei Templi and the FIP RISE in Biella. Twenty-seven pairs are at the start in the men’s draw (five will play directly in the round of 16), 16 in the women’s, which sees the Italians Caterina Maria Baldi and Valentina Tommasi as the top seeds, with the Spaniards Maite Cano Pou and Ares Llobera Irun number 2.
