Scatena/Mercadal on top of the draw

The CUPRA FIP Tour makes a stop on the Egyptian North Coast, which hosts the FIP RISE Marassi Open, a men’s draw composed of 21 pairs, 11 of which are already in the round of 16, with the remaining ten vying for the other five spots in the second round. Frenchman Jeremy Scatena (defeated in the final at Hoorn in July) and Spaniard Adria Mercadal are the only two players in the top 100 ranking present at the starting line-up. The second seeded pair is composed by Abdulaziz Redha (Kuwait) and Adrian Ronco Lopez (Spain), followed by Youssef Hossam (Egypt) and Matias Nicoletti (Italy).
