a celebration of youth padel

It was a great weekend of youth padel that was played at the Pistas Municipales Francis Ceballos, which hosted five FIP PROMISES circuit draw in the Diputación Málaga. In the Under 14 men’s category, the winner was the number 1 seed, Javier Merino Nieto and Alvaro Bartolome, thanks to a 7-6 6-3 win over Chacon Diaz/Martin Cano. In the Under 16, Juan Zamora Perez and Francisco Cabeza Teres defeated 6-1 6-3 Antonio Garcia Fernandez and Alejandro Garcia Calahorro. Finally, in the Under 18s, surprise victory for Sebastia Artigues and Emanuel Riesgo, 6-2 7-5 to Alejandro Puga Molina and Saul Duran Heras.

Among the women, Claudia Ordonez Romero and Maria Delgado Medina did well in the Under 14 (success in the final 6-4 7-6 over Sara Garrido Rodriguez and Marta Suner Mas) and in the Under 16 the pair formed by Julieta Aleman Barba and Erika Mesa Martinez, who took advantage of the forfeit of Claudia Escacena Montero and Cayetana Sanchez Vera.
