Vasquez and Lindahl lead the draw

With the world’s top players engaged in the Premier P1 in Mendoza, the CUPRA FIP Tour continues over the weekend with the FIP RISE HOP London at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton. A men’s draw of 32 pairs, including four from the qualifiers, and a women’s draw of 23 will be on the court. Leading the men’s entry list are Sweden’s Simon Vasquez and Daniel Windahl, while there is the forfeit of the No. 2 seed Pedro Vera and Cayetano Rocafort Lores replaced by lucky losers Victor Romero Gasca and Alejandro Lopez Trigo.

Christian Medina Murphy, who last weekend won the FIP PROMOTION in Elche paired with Alberto Garcia Jimenez, will play in London with Miguel Angel Solbes, who won some weeks ago in Cordenons (Italy), with Miguel Gonzalez. Among the women, the top seeds are Dutchwomen Marcella Koek and Stephanie Weterings, already in the second round as are – among others – the number two, Spain’s Catarina Castro Vilela and Italy’s Francesca Ligotti, and the pair formed by Tia Louisa Norton and Rosalie Van der Hoek, who lifted the trophy last weekend in Al Alamein.
