Garcia and Medina celebrate

Prediction respected in the FIP PROMOTION in Elche, Spain, where Alberto Garcia Jimenez and Christian Medina Murphy won. The Spaniard and the Briton – but who lives and trains in Spain – led the entry list and won in three sets at the end of a well-balanced final against Guillem Figuerola Santiago and Gerard Arnaldos Serranos that ended 6-4 3-6 7-6, with Medina and Murphy losing in the final the only set of their extraordinary tournament.
In the women’s draw, success for the Spaniards Cristina Carrascosa Cazorla and Amanda Lopez Moral: starting as fourth seed, they defeated Martina Fassio Goyeneche and Camila Fassio in the final, after losing the first set (2-6 6-3 6-2).
