Defeated in the semifinal at Rome, Di Nenno consoles himself by giving the shirt to De Rossi

Among the many VIPs who flocked to the Foro Italico Centre Court, there was also Daniele De Rossi – former As Roma captain and 2006 world champion with the Italian national team and with an experience in Argentina, with Boca Juniors shirt – to cheer for the ‘SuperpibesFranco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno in the tough BNL Italy Major Premier Padel semifinal against Tapia-Coello.

De Rossi, a great padel fan, followed with great attention from a VIP box positioned behind the court the match between the number 2 seeded players and the couple who gradually gained the status of favorites for the Roman Major title. At the end of the semifinal, while Coello and Tapia were celebrating the qualification to the final by signing autographs and T-shirts, Martin Di Nenno, a great friend of the former captain of As Roma and a super fan of Boca (so much that he also dragged Paquito Navarro to the Bombonera), joined him for a big hug and a quick chat before the shower. Then, just before saying goodbye, Martin took off his shirt, put it in a transparent bag and gave it to a very happy De Rossi, while a large number of boys and girls asked for the autograph of both from the adjacent tribune. Immediately afterwards, De Rossi left the Centre Court followed by a couple of security guys with the precious gift from Di Nenno.

And there is no doubt that soon someone will spot De Rossi playing padel with that blue and white shirt with the words ‘Di Nenno’ on the back.
