Gil and Sager warm up for Rome

Only one set lost in five matches, only four games left to their opponents in the final: absolute domination by Diego Gil and Nachi Sager at FIP RISE Hoorn. In the Netherlands, the Spaniards – who were the top seed in the draw – defeated 6-4 6-0 Jeremy Scatena (France) and another Spaniard, Fran Ramirez Navas in the deciding match. Gil and Sager, therefore, after the FIP STAR in Riyadh also took home the tournament in Hoorn.

The trophy, however, was immediately packed up, heading for Rome, where the two Spaniards are in the main draw of the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel. Ironically, in case of double success in the first round, there would be a rematch with Scatena and Ramirez Navas in the round of 32.
