Martinez and Molina try again

After losing in the semifinals in Gravataí, Cristobal Martinez and Cristobal Molina try again. In a full weekend for the CUPRA FIP Tour, a FIP STAR is being played in Curitiba, Brazil, with the two Chileans leading the 32-pair entry list, four of them coming from the qualifiers. Martinez and Molina, who also reached the finals in Santiago this season (lost to Lopez and Rolla), are the top seeds in a draw made up almost exclusively of South American players (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay the countries represented).

The No. 2 seed is the Brazilian pair of Joao Pedro and Stefano Flores. The only “foreigners” from Europe are Frenchmen Manuel Vives and Julien Seurin (No. 3 seed) and Philemon Raichman and Dorian De Meyer, No. 7 on the draw. The number 4 seeds are Andre Freitas and Julio Cesar Julianoti, winners of the FIP PROMOTION in Gravataí two months ago.
