Città dei Templi, Abbate and Brusa lift the trophy Flavio, a new Italian talent

Young Italian talents grow up. Flavio Abbate, born in 2004 and paired with Italian-Argentinian Nicolas Brusa, won the FIP PROMOTION Città dei Templi played in Agrigento. Abbate and Brusa, in the final, defeated in three sets (6-2 3-6 6-2) another pair featuring a young Italian talent, Steve Piernicola Stracquadaini (also class of 2004), with Portuguese Bernardo Roque.

Abbate and Brusa, before taking the trophy, had defeated in order the third seed (Spaniard Adrian Ronco Lopez and Kuwaiti Abdulrahman Alawadhi) and then the fourth, Spaniards Nicolai Maniucov and Sergi Lorenzo Nogueras. At the end of July, the CUPRA FIP Tour will return again to Agrigento, for a FIP RISE scheduled for the last week of July.
