Santa Maria, Argentinians Sanchez and Calleja win in Brazil

Maxi Sanchez Blasco (winner of the FIP Rise in Buenos Aires last year) and Felipe Calleja, after losing the final at the FIP Silver in Rio Grande, won their first international title of 2025 on the CUPRA FIP Tour by winning the FIP Silver in Santa Maria.

The two Argentinians came back to win in Brazil against their fellow countrymen and number one seeds, Axel Guevara and Manuel Gayone (who reached the quarterfinals last week at the FIP Silver in Curitiba), with a score of 4-6 6-3 7-6.
