Nola, Pappacena and Cremona chasing success in Italy
April 17, 2025
The CUPRA FIP Tour stays in Italy. After last week’s FIP Silver Medionalum Padel Cup in Rome, this weekend the FIP Bronze will take place in Nola.
Leading the men’s seeding is the pair made up of Italian Simone Cremona and Spaniard Jaume Romera. Ranked 76 and 122 in the FIP rankings, they are looking for their first international win of 2025 after reaching the semifinals of the P2 in Gijón. On the other side of the main draw, we have Enzo Jensen and Andres Fernandez Lancha, ranked 127 and 105, who want to repeat their victory from the FIP Silver in Caltanissetta two weeks ago.
In the women’s draw, the top-seeded pair is Chiara Pappacena and Giulia Sussarello, ranked 85 and 112 in the world, who just lost the final at the FIP Silver Medionalum Padel Cup in Rome. On the other side of the seeding are Caterina Baldi and Carla Serrano, who reached the semifinals at the FIP Bronze in Egypt.
The tournament will be played in Nola (in Campania, a region in southern Italy) from Friday 18 to Sunday 20, and will award 40 points for the FIP ranking.
