Leiria Master Padel, Arruabarrena-Bidahorria and Gutierrez-Rico lead the draws in a tournament full of top 100 players

The CUPRA FIP Tour is back in Portugal. This weekend, the FIP Silver Leiria Master Padel will be played, with both men’s and women’s draws.

At the top of the men’s draw are Agustin Gutierrez and Josete Rico, who are number 61 and 58 in the FIP ranking. They recently reached the quarterfinals of the Dubai P1 in 2024. On the other side of the draw are the brothers Miguel and Nuno Deus, ranked 47 and 46. They won the FIP Silver of Dubai and now want to win at home in Portugal, after losing the final in the FIP Gold of Paredes.

In the women’s draw, the top seeds are Lara Arruabarrena (semifinalist at the CUPRA FIP Finals in 2024) and Julieta Bidahorria (semifinalist at the FIP Gold of Dubai in February). They are ranked 47 and 35 in the FIP ranking. On the other side of the draw are Marta Barrera and Marta Caparros, who won the FIP Silver of Caltanissetta.

The tournament will be held in Leiria (Portugal) from Thursday, April 24 to Sunday, April 27. It offers 80 points for the FIP ranking.
